BRITISH OFFSITE TO DELIVER 4,000 MMC HOMES PER YEAR

British Offsite has officially launched to deliver 4,000 homes per year, and revolutionise the methods of modern construction (MMC) residential market, following a £35 million investment from the Weston Group.

Show House reports that British Offsite is offering a technologically advanced light gauge steel panel system for the residential marketplace, and as part of its launch, will have an exhibition stand at the Offsite Expo at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry in September, so it can meet customers and showcase its product range for the first time.

The launch of British Offsite will see the company selling its exterior building and interior fit-out components to builders and contractors in the construction sector, including local and regional housebuilders.

British Offsite’s customers will be invited to place orders for the manufacture, delivery, and on-site installation of the factory-made components. The firm will, be collaborating with its customers on sequencing and contrition programme management

British Offsite collaborates with its customers on sequencing and construction programme management, to ensure that the efficiency of the UNI System range, which includes light gauge panels, walls, roofs and floors, is optimised.

The company also manufactures internal Fitout modules under its BOS Fitout brand, which includes bathroom components, kitchen and bedroom products, designed to be easily integrated into existing projects, with full quality control testing before elements reach the site.

The company has recently invested in a second state-of-the-art factory, to run along alongside their existing factory in Braintree, Essex. Inspired by the automotive industry, the £6 million production line at the new factory will be largely robotic, which has been delivered by Swedish partner Randek AB.
