If you are stuck choosing between a box profile roofing sheet or another form of roof, here are some reasons to go with the former:

• Durable

Box profile roofing sheets are extremely durable, and can last up to 30 years, depending on the coating and how well it is maintained. 

One with a PVC Plastisol Coating, for instance, could endure three decades, while a Polyester Paint Coating is also hardwearing and can last more than 20 years before needing to be replaced.

• Simple installation

This type of roofing is fitted by overlapping sheets and fixing them with screws. This makes them very quick and simple to install, meaning the work can be done in next to no time, helping a construction project finish on deadline. 

• Little maintenance

Box profile roofing sheets do not need a lot of maintenance work over the years. Aside from removing leaves, branches and other fallen debris regularly, particularly during the winter, it may simply need one repaint during its lifetime. 

Between eight and 25 years after being installed, it could be due to a repaint. However, this depends on your aesthetic preference and the type of coating it has.
