Now would be a good time to check over your roofs and invest in the some Yorkshire construction accessories, as 100mph winds are expected to batter the UK this coming weekend (January 10th), with the north to be the hardest hit.
The Met Office, which has issued severe weather warnings for parts of the country, is advising people to keep up to date with its forecasts in order to be as prepared as possible.
Heavy rain and widespread winds will continue through the weekend and into Monday, so checking your roofs are properly fortified and able to withstand the inclement weather is advisable, or you could find yourself facing a big insurance bill next week.
